Fight the New Drug was founded in 2009 by four passionate college students (Clay Olsen, Ryan Werner, Beau Lewis, and Cam Lee) ready to change conversations around pornography. Since then, Fight the New Drug has brought education and awareness about porn’s harmful effects to millions of individuals around the world using only science, facts, and personal accounts.

As porn becomes increasingly normalized, education on its well-documented harms becomes increasingly important.

The abduction of Elizabeth Smart was one of the most followed child abduction cases in history. Elizabeth was abducted on June 5, 2002 and endured daily sexual assault, starvation, and abuse for nine grueling months. Fortunately, the police safely returned Elizabeth back to her family on March 12, 2003.

Elizabeth triumphantly testified before her captor and the world about the very private nightmare she suffered during her abduction, which led to their conviction. She went on to start the Elizabeth Smart Foundation in 2011, which seeks to empower survivors of sexual violence and remove the stigma around abuse.

The Malouf™ Foundation exists to confront sexual exploitation, specifically sex trafficking and online abuse.

After founding their bedding business, Malouf™, in 2003, Sam and Kacie Malouf recognized that their products could help children and families experiencing hardship. What began with a community-centered approach—donating bedding to women’s shelters, safe homes, foster care families—became a core tenant of the business. In 2016, they formalized their charitable efforts and created the Malouf Foundation™.

Today, the Malouf Foundation™ has education and healing programs designed to confront sexual exploitation, specifically sex trafficking and online abuse.
